Well heres a small update i guess.Heh..

Anyway i finally got around to getting some half ass tail lights that i bought for $10 each there in decent shape.I bypassed the board on the back of em that goes bad and just hard wired all the connections. And it turned out better then i thought it would be and works great.

I also finished up the transmission and the kick down cable has been replaced.Still gotta put up the cross member and drive shaft then im done with the drive train.Trans cooler has been hooked up as well.

This brings me to what i have been trying to figure out and fix.I replaced the rear temp sensor which controls both fuel/spark and that still did not fix the issues either.I then noticed theres nice white film shit sitting in the oil and all over the dip stick. That points to all the problems HAH a blown head gasket.

Ordered the parts off FCP.Head gasket was $15 bolts were $34 funny thing the stock head gasket can hold 500hp.So there strong bastards :-D.

I need to borrow a torque wrench and a breaker wrench to get the damn head off.Broke my only decent wrench trying to get the head off haha.I got a tire wrench im going to use next that should do the trick...

Now the blown head gasket would explain the hose's getting stiff under high boost pulls. And as well as the strange spark blow out i was getting past 23psi i know the .50 trims can wreck havoc with a 18+ yr old head gasket. And this one held up longer then the 7's did so it surprised me.But it was about time for it to let loose.

Well after this it SHOULD run correctly..Though im not holding my breath..

And btw i am moving to clear water in the next couple of weeks only thing keeping me in this shithole town is i do not have a car that runs. That SHOULD change after this week or during this week.

Well i haven't updated this place in awhile.Figure i would since im bored hah.I also added a music player full of crap that i listen to most of the time. And i also added adsense just to see what happens lol.

Anyway as some of you may know the 940T that i bought for $375 suffered a car fire which is alright with me.Since i bought the car for the engine/drive train and the body as an extra feature. The fire was pretty epic got higher then the car and took out all the wiring bits and took out all the injectors.I paid $375 for the car and got to keep the motor/drive train and made $250 after words so i didn't lose too bad :-D.

So after that awesome ordeal i tore into the car the next day and had the motor ready to be pulled.Did the same thing with the old 244 that i have had for years. And decided that i would just swap the 240 and put the 90+ b230FT into the 244.Had that motor sitting in the 240 within a day of me purchasing an engine hoist.

Then i proceeded to take on the wiring and convert the alternator mount over to the 7/9 brackets did that and swapped ecu's out among other things.I also swapped the pumps out and other little things.Went to start it up and it runs excessively rich and won't clear up till 3500+Rpm then it rips.

Thinking my ecu took a shit as i have gone thru EVERYTHING even bought a timing gun to check my timing.

So long story short i will be trying to get a set of computers this weekend and see if that fix's it.If not then ill leave it up to the Volvo god who got me started he knows who he is lol.

Anyway heres some pics. Not bad for a newb heh?

Started life out as a plain Jane boring 244.

Well im going to be offering a cheap and afordable manual boost controller. It will be a ball and spring style controller and smaller then whats on the market now.And i will also be including two different springs one for High boost and one for Low boost. Now the reason i wanted to make the controller was really due to the fact that the cheap eBay controllers are down right horrible and rarely ever hold properly.

Now with the High boost spring expect to see 20+ psi on the lowest setting. And on the low boost spring expect to see around 10-18psi to be gained.

Now these controllers will be shipped via USPS flat rate envelope's.

And pricing will be $18 plus shipping.

Right now i will be selling only the high boost controllers. As i cannot find anyone who runs low boost around me.
